The Cult of the Dark Sisterhood is a mystery to all outsiders. They are the most isolated, uncommunicative religious order on this world.
They are known to buy many male slaves. Once inside the walls of the Sisterhood’s inviolable headquarters the slave men are never seen again.
Ignorance breeds infinite speculations. Some say that the sisters use the men for sex and are ashamed to admit such primitive, debased appetites. Others believe that the women prefer to practice their sadism in secrecy. They think that the slaves are subjecting to slow, horrifying torments. That the suffer years of extreme agony finally expiring. The most singular opinion is that the women are cannibals. That the sisters eat the slave men. The more extreme suggesting that the men are alive at the beginning of the meal.
But nobody knows. The slaves’ fates may be mild and innocent.
