After writing of my own attempts to make my masochistic fantasies believable I started wondering if a similar process might be the cause of some men’s belief in female superiority. Does faith in gynosupremacy give their dreams a greater sense of authenticity?

To believe that someone is inherently your superior – what would that feel like? Many people are better than me. They have more discipline, work harder, are more generous, have the talent to create beautiful things. Weary old cynic that I am it is refreshing to remember what some have brought to their lives over the millennia. For all their virtues they all have their faults. There’s no one I’d appoint dictator.
Even though I know shame, envy and guilt what it might feel like to believe that you are intrinsically inferior eludes me.
That women might enjoy feeling superior is unremarkable. When has there been a time when people didn’t like feeling they are better than another class, caste, race of people. And it never hurts to remember that some women use female supremacy – many telephone ProDommes for example – as a source of income. (Elise Sutton has a new self-published book out. Surprised to see no buzz about it.)
Alexandra recently remarked that there is more diversity among female supremacists than she first thought.
I have to agree. My first glimpses of the ideology were either pseudoscience or madness (part of me likes to think that sites like Woman Thou Art God are elaborate practical jokes). Later I became fond of a blog by a gynosupremacist (and I hope Victoria Catherine one day returns to the blogosphere).

Quite A Spectrum Among Female Supremacists
Ritual urination as mandated by the First Church of Female Supremacy:

Female chauvinism seems as good a term as I can think up to describe some of the silly rhetoric you find on many of the female superiority web sites.
Often in thinking about this I’m reminded by how much the folklore about women as nobler came from men who much as anything wanted to keep women in their place. What gave women finer souls was also believed to bar them from becoming doctors, painters, engineers, musicians or even voters.
Female supremacists? Best wishes to the nice ones. A sarcastic snicker for the female chauvinists.
